An Open Yet Self-Controlled Ecosystem
DawnEngine is both a beneficiary of and contributor to the open-source ecosystem, and a member of the domestic hardware/software ecosystem. We build around four directions: open foundation, domestic adaptation, industry solutions, and developer community.
Upstream & Open Source
- O3DE community: DawnEngine is built on O3DE, tracking upstream releases and giving back to the community.
- Cesium: integrating Cesium geospatial capabilities to carry 3D Tiles and real-Earth data.
- Open standards: embracing open formats such as glTF and 3D Tiles to lower data barriers.
Localization Partners
DawnEngine works with domestic OS and chip vendors to complete localization adaptation:
- Kylin
- UOS
- HarmonyOS
Adaptation progress and certification info will be updated continuously in the news.
Industry Solutions
DawnEngine offers capability bundles and reference solutions for:
- Digital twins: city-, campus-, and watershed-scale twins and visualization.
- Simulation: situational simulation for transport, emergency response, and low-altitude scenarios.
- Industrial visualization: 3D presentation and interaction for equipment, energy, and manufacturing.
- Geospatial: reality meshes, photogrammetry, and GIS fusion.
